New On Tap 12/16

It’s been a crazy few months at The Nutty Irishman, Farmingdale, so we apologize for our absence, to those that noticed. 🙂

But we’re back! And we want to keep you in the know about what we’ve got on tap.

New this week to The Nutty Irishman, Farmingdale’s taps are:

bell-s-two-hearted-ale-38.jpg Bell’s Two Hearted IPA with 7.0% ABV
American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

sweetwater-420-extra-pale-ale.pngSweetwater 420 with 5.7% ABV
A tasty west coast style pale ale with a good hop feel to it and a crisp finish. Look for piney, resinous, grapefruit notes, flourishes of mangoes, passion fruit and Clementine oranges and a hint of hop spiciness. Some sweet caramel grains keep the hoppy aromatics in check in this very well balanced beer.

We have these two beers, plus 20 other ones on tap! Come on in and try one, order a pint, or take home your favorite beer in a Nutty growler! We think a growler is a great last minute gift for that beer lover in your life.  Don’t know what kind of beer they want? Purchase an empty one & a gift card so they can fill it themselves! #LifeHack

We’re open daily from 12pm-2am or later, so come on by!

Blue Point Arm Chair Nitro Stout
4.4% ABV

This is their take on the classic dry stout style with a luscious, roasty character derived from 4 different dark malts. English and American hops are balanced out with nitrogenation, making for a creamy delight.

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m personally dying to try the Blue Point Arm Chair Nitro Stout!

Come on in & try them for yourself.

Cheers!

New on Tap at The Nutty Irishman: Saranac Legacy IPA

Welcome the newest craft beer to our 22 taps, Saranac Legacy IPA:
LegacyIPA
Saranac Lecagy IPA is a century old recipe which uses lighter malts to allow the hop flavor to shine through. It pairs well with: curry, thai, dry rubbed ribs, jerk chicken or pork, and stilton, aged cheddar, gorgonzola cheese.

Get it in a pint glass, try it in a beer flight ($5.50 on Wednesdays!), or bring home a growler of it – all of which are available at The Nutty Irishman!

The Nutty Irishman & Craft Beer

We are The Nutty Irishman.  While we may not be considered your typical craft beer place, our passion and hobbies include finding new craft beers and flavors to introduce to our bar.

The Nutty Irishman Farmingdale has 22 taps that are constantly flowing local Long Island craft beers, European Imports, and everything in between.

Some things you should know:
•We have The Brewers Collective on tap!
The Brewers Collective is a nano brewery consisting of 9 brewers looking to establish a name for themselves and carve out a spot in the Long Island beer community by bringing their wit, skills and most importantly, uncompromisingly excellent small batch beer to the table.

•We’re getting some beer from The Brickhouse Brewery THIS WEEK…no one else has it yet so you’re definitely going to want to come in & taste it.  It’s going to be a nitro cream ale aged in Jameson barrels…told you you’re definitely going to want to try it!

•Recently, our novice craft beer enthusiast/manager has teamed up with Greenport to create a brew specifically for his wedding.  Come try the Greenport Unity IPA! The Greenport Unity IPA is brewed with loads of simcoe hops, centennial hops, and target hops. It is currently only available here at The Nutty Irishman, the Greenport tasting room, and other very limited locations.

•We’re going to be working on a very special event for Long Island Craft Beer Week.
•Expect to always see local breweries such as Blue Point Brewing Company, Greenport Harbor Brewing Co., Long Ireland Beer Company, and other favorite Long Island Breweries.

•Coming soon: 64 oz Growlers!  Come on in and either purchase a Nutty Irishman growler (or bring your own) and fill up any one of our 22 craft beers to take home!

We are always looking for limited release and small batch beer, so if there’s anything you’d like to see on tap, please let us know!
