NEW on Tap at The Nutty Irishman

Meet the newest beers to be added to The Nutty Irishman of Farmingdale’s Tap:

Ballast Point Pale Ale The Original:
Our original Pale Ale is a rich golden brew, crafted with aromatic German hops and rounded out with a blend of American and Munich malts. While it’s hopped like a lager, we ferment it like an ale to create a smooth, bright taste that has just a hint of fruit and spice. It’s extremely drinkable, like a Kolsch should be, yet complex, like a good craft beer demands.

Blue Point Summer Ale:
Any Long Islander will tell you it’s not summer unless you’re outside with a Blue Point Summer Ale in hand. Who’s to disagree with a New Yorker?
Our refreshing Summer Ale is brewed using a substantial portion of wheat malt added to a traditional barley malt mix. This blend creates a unique tartness not commonly found in light ales, making it the perfect companion on the beach, barbecues or anywhere the summer sun takes you.

Angry Orchard Cider:
A crisp and refreshing cider, its fresh apple aroma and slightly sweet, ripe apple flavor make it hard to resist.

These beers are the perfect accompaniment to any hot summer day.  What better way to make you summer better than with a nice crisp craft beer?!

Cheers!

Our Pumpkin Ale, on the other hand, has made quite a buzz from New Hampshire down to Florida. Every season has its pleasures. Harvest your own with our Pumpkin Ale and reap all that Autumn has to offer. Brewed with pumpkins from only the most sincere patches, this seasonal brew is golden orange, crisp and delicious, with an innocent hint of cinnamon and nutmeg that articulates our favorite season. Delirium Tremens (8.5) ABV

The allusion to the pink elephant a consequence of a delirium tremens the day before, is not a chance. The reasons are multiple: first of all, the beer possesses a degree of high alcohol; and, on the other hand, irresponsible consumers sometimes suffer devastating effects of a too much consumption of alcohol.
This beer became the classic of the brewery, appreciated especially for its qualities degustatives, as well as the mystery that hides itself behind the gray partitions of his characteristic bottle. This blond perfect one stresses the qualities of an exceptional houblon as well as of different clear malts. The conclusion combines a bitter and peppered tone without aggressiveness. She represents strong blond beer under its better appearance.

Dog Fish 90 Minute IPA (9.0) ABV

An Imperial India Pale Ale featuring a single, constant 90-minute hop addition. It’s balanced by a ridiculous amount of English Two-row Barley. Then we dry-hop it in every tank.

Dos Equis Amber (4.7) ABV

Dos Equis Amber is a rich, full-bodied Mexican import with a reddish-gold color and is made from the finest ingredients, representing the brand’s traditional Mexican heritage. The history of Dos Equis Amber is traced to the development of the popular Oktoberfest-style of Vienna lager originally created during the mid-19th century.

Stone IPA (6.9) ABV

Look up “hops” in the dictionary and you’ll see a picture of Stone IPA! “Dry-hopped” for an extra two weeks, this unique process gives our IPA its bountiful hop aroma and rich hop flavor. A full 70+ IBUs (International Bitterness Units) creates this beer’s crisp and refreshing bitter character.

Victory Headwaters Pale Ale (5.1) ABV

Reflecting over the years as we approach our 15th anniversary here at Victory, we can’t help but be struck by the realization that Downingtown has made a great home for Victory. From the enthusiastic throngs that crowd our brewpub to enjoy our creative, flavorful beers and cuisine to the natural charms of the area, we are blessed with good fortune. As the active community contributor we’ve been over those years, we recognize our opportunity to both utilize and protect these assets. Chief among those assets is the pure water we receive from the East Branch of the Brandywine Creek that begins its journey to us just under 14 miles from where we brew with it. We’ll be celebrating this water (insert your lite beer joke here) with our anniversary beer, Headwaters Pale Ale, due to be released February 15, 2011. Now, considering that beer is the product of four simple ingredients and the three other than water rely on water for their existence, we’ve had a fair amount of latitude in paying homage to water in our beer. So, we’ve played all of our cards deftly, bringing the hops, malt and yeast in harmony, with our great local water as the conductor in Headwaters Pale Ale.
